which tier do i choose? The 16 oz supports up to 30 treatments per month. the 32 oz supports up to 60 treatments per month. the 64 oz supports up to 125 treatments per month. 

how do you gift massage oil to therapists? Hafen was created by a massage therapist for massage therapy. In an effort to support the profession, Hafen gives a Free Massage Oil to solo massage therapists. With your purchase Hafen donates a free massage oil to another Therapist. 

Is it safe to use on all clients, including pregnant clients? The body oil and whipped balm contain bioavailable oils and are safe for all skin types. 

Is it suitable for full-body massage or just specific areas? Yes. They are suitable for full body massage. The body oil is best used for a lighter therapeutic massage, and the whipped balm is best used for deep tissue or myofascial work.

Does it stain sheets or towels? Like all high-quality massage oils and balms, our product can leave some residue on sheets and towels. With proper care, using hot water, a good degreasing detergent, and avoiding fabric softeners, oils can be fully removed without damaging your linens. We recommend washing soon after use for best results and storing in a well-circulated area. 

How much product is needed per session? (a little or a lot?)  A little of our oil goes a long way thanks to its concentrated, nourishing formula. Most therapists find just a small amount is enough for a full session. However, in drier seasons or on clients with very dry skin, you may need to reapply slightly more to maintain glide. Start with less, you can always add more if needed.

How is the glide? Is it oily, fast-absorbing, or long-lasting? The glide is long-lasting and supports deep tissue or effleurage and petrissage. 

Can it be used with hot stones, cupping, or other tools? Yes, using a little of the Hafen Body Oil or Whipped Balm can be used with stones, cupping, IASTM, Guasha or other tools needing a gentle glide on the tissue. Please ensure you clean and disinfect after each use. 

Does it leave a greasy residue on the skin? as with all oils, too much and you could leave the skin too greasy. The Hafen Body Oil and Whipped Balm are bioavailable and absorb nicely into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Start with a little and you can always add more.
